NBA Power Rankings October 27, 2009

1. Los Angeles Lakers 0-0: The Defending Champs now have Ron Artest. It will be interesting to see how he fits in with them and whether or not he'll be a hinderance to their chemistry.
2.Orlando Magic 0-0: Adding Vince Carter just might be what this team needs to get to #1 in the NBA.
3.Boston Celtics 0-0: Garnett's Knee is a concern, but the bigger concern should be the fact that a lot of teams around them are getting better. To their cred they did get Rasheed Wallace, and he will make them more dangerous.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers 0-0: I'm not sure what kind of edge Shaq will give them, but as long as he stays healthy, he'll make them better.
5. San Antonio Spurs 0-0: They got Jefferson, and maybe one more run at a Title.
6. Utah Jazz 0-0: They didn't really make any changes over the off season, but with Deron Williams as the best Point Guard in the NBA, and an improved Paul Millsap, this team could surprise a lot of people.
7. New Orleans Hornets 0-0: Chris Paul with Emeka Okafor could be a scary combo.
8.Denver Nuggets 0-0: I like this team as a threat in the post season, and with Chauncey Billups @ PG, they got a PG that can compete more with D-Will of the Jazz.
9. Phoenix Suns 0-0: Once again a team that can scare a lot of people come playoff time.
10. Dallas Mavericks 0-0: They'll make the playoffs, but with the west being so loaded, they won't come out of it alive.
11.Portland Trail Blazers 0-0: If Greg Oden Stays healthy, the Blazers will be in the mix and the hunt.
12. Chicago Bulls 0-0: Derrick Rose gives this team hope.
13. Houston Rockets 0-0: Losing Artest is a good thing, no Yao is a bad thing.
14. Los Angeles Clippers 0-0: Blake Griffin's injury will be a definite setback, but he's got a lot of potential, they seem to be capable of maybe being a playoff team.
15. Atlanta Hawks 0-0: In the weak east, they might play strong.
16. Philadelphia 76ers 0-0: If Iguodala and Brand stay healthy, this team will be a force to be reckoned with.
17. Miami Heat 0-0: Dywane Wade will have to shoulder a lot of the responsibility this season, even with Michael Beasley, and Jermaine O'Neal. Aquiring Quentin Richardson, might do more good than people realize.
18. Detroit Pistons 0-0: Without Billups they aren't as good, but Ben Gordon is a nice addition.
19. Indiana Pacers 0-0: They aren't gonna do much this year.
20.Toronto Raptors 0-0: Chris Bosh is a beast, and with Turkoglu they might make some noise.
21. New Jersey Nets 0-0: They need help.
22. New York Knicks 0-0:They suck
23. Charlotte Bobcats 0-0: Michael Jordan cares more about golf than the Bobcats.
24. Memphis Grizzlies 0-0: OJ Mayo will be good with Rudy Gay, and Allen Iverson gives this team spice, but they won't do a whole lotta damage.
25. Minnesota Timberwolves 0-0: Al Jefferson will help them out along with Kevin Love, but they still got a lot of work to do.
26. Oklahoma City Thunder: Kevin Durant makes this team a threat, but still not very good.
27. Sacramento Kings 0-0: This team's a PUKER
28. Milwaukee Bucks 0-0: They suck
29. Golden State Warriors 0-0: Monte Ellis and Stephen Jackson complaining, equals not good.
30. Washington Wizards 0-0: Arenas won't make them a contender so don't worry about this team.
