NFL Power Rankings: Week 2
1. Indianapolis Colts (2-0): As long as Peyton Manning and Co.keep the offense aflame, this team is going to do some serious damage.
2. New England Patriots (2-0): Do you think all that video taping stuff about them got them angry against the Chargers? Ya think?
3. San Diego Chargers (1-1): I know they got crushed, but it was to an angry Patriot team who had to blow off some steam. Secondly, L.T. hasn't found a groove yet, but he will, and when he does, look out.
4. Dallas Cowboys (2-0): I liked T.O.'s TD dance relating to the whole Patriot spy thing, and even more impressivley the way they are playing.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0): They are heating up, and right now, they are looking like a team who may make some noise in the playoffs.
6. Chicago Bears (1-1): Devin Hester did it again against the Chiefs. Is it just me, or is he Rex Grossman's best friend?
7. Baltimore Ravens (1-1): Nice recovery against the Jets, and now look for them to terrorize the Cards this Sunday.
8. Green Bay Packers (2-0): If Brett Favre is playing well and they are winning, look out for this Packer team, they are for real.
9. San Francisco 49ers (2-0): Frank Gore is running great right now, but QB Alex Smith is looking a little shaky, and beating the Rams and Cards doesn't say much. They got Pittsburgh this weekend, that will be a big game.
10. Denver Broncos (2-0): They beat the Bills by one point and the Raiders by a field goal in overtime. It ain't a pretty resume, but they did get the wins
11. Washington Redskins (2-0): Right now, they are looking pretty good, but I fear that their inexperince @ QB with Jason Cambell of Auburn will ultimately be a set back. But I like Clinton Portis right now and what is doing for their running game.
12. Seattle Seahawks (1-1): "Slippery" Shaun Alexander and Matt "The Alley Cat" Hasslebeck have both got to be dissapointed in the loss to the hapless Cardinals.
13. Cincinnati Bengals (1-1): I don't care if they scored 45 points last week, if you give up 51 to the Browns, you gotta step back and say to yourselves "Is our defense that bad?"
14. New Orleans Saints (0-2): I have faith in Bush 'n Brees, but right now this team looks lost.
15. Houston Texans (2-0): I like the 2-0 start, especially the come back against the Panthers.
16. Carolina Panthers (1-1): Blowing a 14-0 lead to the Texans is shameful.
17. Tennessee Titans (1-1): Vince Young looks good right now, and they almost beat the Indianapolis Colts. Good things from Tennessee and they should really forget about Pac Man "Prison" Jones.
18. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1): Now that Leftwich split for Atlanta, things should be calmer.
19. Detroit Lions (2-0): I like the winning, especially Jon Kitna coming back into the game despite having a concussion. That shows GUTS and stupidity.
20. Minnesota Vikings (1-1): Adrian Peterson looks promising, but they still are lightyears and boatrides away from winning 8 games.
21. Arizona Cardinals (1-1): Picking up a division win against the Seahawks was huge, especially since Leinart needs wins as a young QB.
22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1): Nice win against the Saints. Joey Galloway looked good and so did Garcia.
23. Philadelphia Eagles (0-2): I expect them to get out of the 20's fast but with a quesitonably healthed Donovan McNabb and a couple of rough losses, this team is going to need help fast.
24. St. Louis Rams (0-2): Steven Jackson is good, but without Orlando Pace at Tackle, the passing game will take a bigger blow than you'd think.
25.Buffalo Bills (0-2): Watch the Pats squash them this weekend. It'll be too painful to watch.
26. New York Giants (0-2): Things look bad in the Big Apple. Eli is playing better, but overall they look confused.
27. Cleveland Browns (1-1): Maybe QB Derek Anderson has a prayer at playing QB. Putting up 51 points ain't bad, and also rushing Brady Quinn in may not be a good idea just yet. Put Quinn in later in the year when the season's already in the garbage can.
28. New York Jets (0-2): Mangini is an angry little snitch right now and Chad "Crutches" Pennington is hurt. Bad news.
29. Miami Dolphins (0-2): They are so bad for so many reasons.
30. Kansas City Chiefs (0-2): They should be doing better, and the real problem is defense.
31. Oakland Raiders (0-2): They played the Broncos tight, but that ain't a W.
32. Atlanta Falcons (0-2): Getting Byron Leftwich at QB might make things better.
