Final Four Picks

Ok, Today is Tuesday March 28, 2006. The Final Four is this weekend, and I must confess, my bracket has been busted. All of my picks are gone. But, I must nonetheless make my predictions.

First off, No.11 seed George Mason takes on No.3 seeded Florida. I will be bold here. I know that Mason's improbable run seems to be one that will eventually die, but I will be a man, and pick George Mason to beat Flordia. George Mason will win! They are a veteran team. Several Juniors and Seniors are on this team, and with the way that this team is playing, I expect them to pull out and win. I know Florida has Joakim Noah, and that big man has been playing fantastic, but at the end of the day, Mason will beat them with their awesome team power.

The second game is No.4 Seed LSU against No.2 seed UCLA. I've got LSU. Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas are both playing well in the paint, and I see their raw domination pay off here as they will beat UCLA, in a tight game. Davis and Thomas will be too much to handle, against a UCLA team that will find them to be a mismatch favoring the Tigers.

As far as the National Championship game goes, I've got Mason. Their experience will prevail and they will be the greatest Cinderella story team in the history of sports. George Mason is my pick!
